Outdoor patio dining is popular at this Mexican restaurant known for its blue agave margaritas and grilled specialties that borrow from the Pueblo, Mayan and Aztec cultures. The restaurant, a local favorite, is in a mini-mall across from the historic Arlington Theatre. Most diners sit outside and enjoy live music that can be heard nightly except Mondays. Try the grilled churrasco rib-eye steak ($20.95) or grilled fresh salmon with papaya salsa ($18.95).

Bah!!

Posted by Valrene  from Brea, CA  on September 11, 2009

Sorry to say, but if this is the "best mexican food" you've ever had, you have missed out on a lot. this food was far from "best" anything, very tasteless, bland, soggy. we would never go back, not only because of the overpriced bad food, but the service was less than below average. rushy, inattentive, just a general "we don't really care" attitude. and hearing one of the waitresses babble on and on complaining (in spanish) about some guests (yes, we could understand her) was so very rude. also, hearing the guys yell out "vamanos!!" at 10 on the dot (which translates to"let's go!")was the cherry on top. funny how the hours are supposed to be from 11 -11 but at 10 everything closes down and we were hustled out quickly. huge thumbs down on this establishment!!

Mexican mom hated it

Posted by jolefem  from los angeles, CA  on September 10, 2009

I loved the grilled salmon/veggie entree, my mom hated the sopes, they were a bit over the top, and my daughter enjoyed her basic bean burrito---energy vibe was great, and beautiful music too!
