Santa barbara hotels feedback

The jan 13 report on santa barbara hotels listed a # of recommended ones. relying on that we chose the inn at east beach over the franciscan,where we had previously stayed. i don't think the reviewer who chose inn at east beach ever really stayed there.no comparison to the franciscan. nice owners but overpriced.
