Three things I liked: Rooms and public areas are beautifully decorated in an eclectic ethnic style.
The downtown location allows travelers to be car free but within walking-distance of fun stuff.
The mini-bar -- with its organic snacks, performance drinks and products from philanthropic manufacturers -- is a snapshot of modern-day guilt-free junk food.
Three things I didn't like
Service is either absent, distracted, uneven or simply bad.
Rooms tend to be small and offer unappealing urban views.
For $400 a night and up, the hotel offers little besides pretty décor, a small pool and a decent restaurant and bar.
