Update on the S.F. Bay Oil Spill, from the National Park Service:

"As a result of the November 7, 2007 San Francisco Bay oil spill, the Aquatic Park beach/lagoon and the Aquatic Park Recreation Pier (Municipal Pier) will remain closed until further notice. Although swimming, boating and fishing activities have been curtailed, the historic vessels at Hyde Street Pier remain open. Please call the Park Visitor Center (415-447-5000) for updated information.
