Price Range: Fees & reservations: On January 1, 2009 the Muir Woods National Monument entrance fee will increase from $5.00 to $7.00 and the Muir Woods Annual Pass will increase from $20.00 - $30.00.

Transportation: Traffic & travel tips: Muir Woods is located 12 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Take Highway 101 to the Highway 1/ Stinson Beach Exit. Follow the signs to Muir Woods. Roads to the park are steep and winding. Vehicles over 35 feet long are prohibited. Parking space is very limited and fills quickly on most days. There are no RV parking facilities.

Open Hours: The park is open from 8 am to sunset, including holidays.
