Best spa!

Posted by daffy  from San Diego, CA  on October 17, 2007

We have stayed in many resorts and have found our favorite! most outstanding was the spa, the therapists there are incredible, and the atmosphere and amenities are beautiful. my husband and i got the best massages of our lives, and the body treatments were beyond wonderful. highly recommended!

The good and the bad

Posted by Jaoudi  from Venice, CA  on September 6, 2007

The good: spa services , pool and setting; dinner at the bluefire grill; architecture; the grounds; kid friendly; the chopra center; location is beautiful and convenient. the bad: moldy/musty rooms with misleading name "deluxe spa rooms" [make sure you get a newly renovated room]; legends cafe is mediocre; bell captains are slow and scarce; room service (time to wait is excessive); poolside service; food and cafe hours at the spa are underwhelming; can be too kid friendly. Our family's favorite resort!

Posted by Andy  from los angeles, CA  on August 9, 2007

Think of it more of a tranquil, upscale club med than a place for afternoon tea. instant relaxation and fun. big kid-friendly pool area with live music, and 3 secluded pool areas for quiet. kid's program my 5 year old loved so much, my wife had time to spa and i had time to golf! we were fortunate enough to also stay in a villa room, which was fantastic.

Villa rooms are great!

Posted by Sam  from Calabasas, CA  on July 8, 2007

We stayed in a villa suite (#6007 & #6008) and found it to be much better than a regular room. both the bedroom and living room had fireplaces. the bath had separate shower with overhead rain spout. living room includes full kitchen with top of the line appliances and dining table. the villa rooms have their own pool and jacuzzi which was much less crowded than the resort pool yet it was just as convenient as the regular rooms. overall stay was very pleasant and relaxing.
