Bargain in a great location

In an area filled with expensive hotels, this best western is a very modest yet acceptable alternative. the rooms are fine, though not at all luxe (synthetic pillow and linens). but the location can't be beat--it's right in the heart of la jolla, and you can walk to everything--which is great in this town because parking is difficult. we could even see the ocean from our balcony.
