This brand-new gourmet deli is a great spot to refuel between epic shopping excursions and epic movie screenings. It serves comfort food with a twist. Try the pork tenderloin sandwich topped with wine-poached pears and Gorgonzola on ciabatta bread.

Wonderful evening

Posted by Desert Rose  from Palm Springs, CA  on October 7, 2009

So so bad, you are way off the mark, or have something against the owners. my husband our daughter and a friend all had a wonderful evening. the mushroom soup is the best i have had and the salmon won raves from both of the men at the table. the menu was thoughtful and the chef came out to say hello. they were kind and welcoming to our one yr old daughter, when most places, let's face it are not so sweet to small children. jakes is a wonderful addition to palm springs. we will be coming back again!

So so bad

Posted by unhappy  from los angeles, CA  on June 7, 2009

What a night. this place is owned by a very greedy man. obviously, this restaurants was a cafe that expanded. the food was beyond average and our waiter was illiterate and new nothing about the menu. we had to wait one hour for our main course and when it arrived it was cold . ive never felt compelled to write a review on one of these site but this place is bad, bad, bad.
