We got a $200 (with taxes) sunday night special after hiking palm canyon. the rooms were quirky and fun -- with nice touches like a complimentary bottle of perrier -- but the best part of our stay was taking a glass of wine outside to the butterfly chairs and sitting around their big gas fire under a completely clear night sky. food prices are outrageous, but breakfast was really good. the gym, while attached to the spa, is pretty standard...and the pools are great too. watch out for the hidden $30 resort fee that is non-negotiable. if you book your room on the parker's site, you won't pay for it until you arrive but you're stuck with it.
