This gourmet roadside burger shack, built in 1949, has slipped into mediocrity. Perhaps the trouble is that the owners now keep a closer watch on their San Francisco outpost -- which is great, by the way, and soon we can add to that list their upcoming Napa location. In any case, it's still the only casual burger joint in St. Helena, with ahi tuna burgers, tacos, salads, and classic shakes. And it still draws huge lines of tourists, who love ordering at the counter ...
