The easiest to reach is Playa Los Muertos (also known as Playa Olas Altas or Playa del Sol), just off Calle Olas Altas, south of the Río Cuale. The water can be rough, but the wide beach is home to a wide array of palapa restaurants that offer food, beverage, and beach-chair service.
