It ain't cheap, but this very private and small (30 rooms?)cliffside beauty is really outstanding. saltwater and freshwater pools as well as many private pools in the rooms where the staff will bring breakfast if you don't want to step outside in the a.m. the restaurant is the best in the hood and the drinks are made with fine tequila, fresh lime juice and cointreau as they should be. phones are always nearby in case you need those nachos by the pool. the local fishing village is worth a wander but this is a hotel you don't want to leave. if you have the friends to fill the private hacienda with private cook and bartender it's worth it. every morning a different pattern in flower petals is created on your freshly made bed. it doesn't get much better - be aware there are lots of stairs, the place is built into a cliffside. massage and gym are on site.
