A Massage to Thai For--I used to live in Thailand, and there's nothing I miss more than a traditional Thai massage, an ancient Thai healing art that combines yogalike stretching, deep-tissue massage, and therapeutic balms. You walk in tense and stiff and walk out one happy noodle. By sheer luck I stumbled upon Pho-Siam, a Thai-style spa that isn't similar to the real thing -- it is the real thing. This is exactly what it's like to get an authentic massage in Thailand. Located near downtown L.A. at the south end of Echo Park -- you'd never find this place on your own -- it's staffed by a gaggle of adorable Thai women who are well-trained in the art of Thai massage. For a mere $40 your body will undergo 60 minutes of such indulgence that you'll be planning a vacation to Thailand by the time you're done. Even the celebrities love this place, as the many framed photos on the wall attest to (apparently travel writers are considered celebrities as well -- I'm the one with my eyes closed). Foot massages ($25 for 30 min.), waxes, and facials are offered as well. Walk-ins are welcome, but it's better to call and make an appointment. Free parking even. 1525 Pizarro St. (at Glendale Blvd. 1 block west of Temple St.), Los Angeles; tel. 323/363-9031; www.phosiamthaimassage.com.

The Huntington Library tea isn't $13
I checked out the website and it says that the tea is $25 per person. Am I mistaken?
