Great restaurant in big bear

I live in big bear and eat at all the restaurants, but truly peppercorn is the most consistent, wonderful restaurant in the village. i ate there a week ago for lunch and enjoyed a creative menu and outstanding service.
Horrible experience

A group of us (four couples) were looking for a fine dining experience in big bear, instead we found a horrible experience and waste of 90 mintues of our saturday evening. we put our names in and they said we'd be seated in 45-60 minutes, acceptable. after an hour they said they could not accomodate us and continued to be extremely rude and insincere. i will never, ever set foot in that restaurant again! there are many other nearby choices which offer great food and service other than peppercorn!
