Update ListingWhen this 5.5-acre estate was built in the late 1920s, it was just another house on the block. Hugh Hefner purchased the mansion in 1971 and it soon became party headquarters for the growing Playboy magazine empire. Playmates were notoriously ever-present, serving cocktails with the legendary "bunny dip" in their rabbit-eared silk corset uniforms. Stars such as Clint Eastwood, Johnny Carson and members of the "Rat Pack" were regular visitors. Those were the days.
