Tour the historical Adamson House, a Spanish Colonial Revival landmark built in 1929. Its main attraction is the exquisite tiling; nearly every room contains artistic tile work by Malibu Potteries, a business owned by the activist family that lived here. Docents are remarkably knowledgeable, and the view and landscaping are stunning.

Wonderful place to visit

Posted by Sabs  from Corvallis, OR  on December 21, 2008

I took the docent lead garden tour and the interiors of the adamson house on 5/30/08 and enjoyed every second of it. the docents were very knowledgeable and patient with people's questions. taking photos indoors is off limits, but there's plenty of opportunity for getting some awesome exterior shots of the grounds as well as the malibu lagoon and surfrider beach. i hope to visit again on my next trip to the l.a. area.
