With the opening of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas, New York developer Donald Trump is bringing another dose of bravado to a city that already swaggers with it. Trump's approach to luxury hospitality may be more gilded, exclusive and Manhattan-inspired, but it's no less bold.

Seven weeks ago, the guy opened a $1-billion hotel in Vegas without a casino. Madness. He built the thing off a lonely stretch of road behind the Fashion Show Mall. Insanity...

Awesome hotel!

Posted by hughaudiogirl  from Sherman Oaks, CA  on November 11, 2008

This is a beautiful hotel. we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. after reading everyone elses comments about a lack of staff - i have to agree. we were given the suite after waiting 1 & 1/2 hours for our room. there weren't enough people at the front desk. room service was prompt - 30 mins. valet parking is $14 a day! the only thing that people might not like is the hotel is not on the strip - so you have to either walk or take a taxi to get to another casino/hotel. this hotel is better suited for families because of the quiet ambience and amount of space and amenities.
