Isn't this exactly the kind of hotel you think about -- or dream about or fear -- when you think "Las Vegas"? There it is, a jumbled pile mock-up of the venerable Manhattan skyline -- the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Public Library -- all crammed together, along with the 150-foot Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, all built to approximately one-third scale. Not what i expected

Posted by snieb on June 7, 2009

We reserved a park avenue room. the decor in the room was shabby and the furniture was cheap in appearance. the bathroom was very small and the bed was very hard. we upgraded to a spa room which was very nice. however, neither room had a refrigerator a mini bar. also the hotel has a $3 a day phone charge which they do not tell you about until you arrive and you are charged whether you use the phone or not. excellent food choices.

Good bye memories

Posted by Bob from Solvang  from Solvang, CA  on February 10, 2008

We have stayed at this hotel 13 times in the last 14 months. our last trip was 2 weeks ago for our 40th anniv. we learned they are changing the whole interior of the casino. they have started with closing the big apple bar and taking away the central park themed stream and bridge. all the trees and arbors are coming out...sad.
