Sun Buggy Fun Rentals (the company also operates in Pismo Beach, Calif.) rents one-, two- and four-seat buggies and all-terrain vehicles, taking excursions to nearby Nellis Dunes, the Valley of Fire and the Amargosa dunes. The most adventurous will sign up for the Mini Baja trip, a bone-shaking 90-minute tour of Nellis' rocky and rutted terrain. Full-face helmets are provided. Total adrenaline rush

Posted by geronimo  from Boston, MA  on July 12, 2009

First of all, i have to say, i come to vegas often for business and have gone on the baja chase twice. in our group we had some loser who kept taking off and not following his guide and damaged a buggy, so yeah i could see why they charged him. i've only had good experiences with sun buggy. we had seven in our group but we had two guides so it's not as chaotic and unorganized as someone made it sound. you get a little bounced around, but it is suppose to be an intense thrill ride, next time when you call ask for a granny tour if you're that delicate and i'm sure they'll accommodate you. but really if you want to go out there and have fun on the dunes, give these guys a chance, i intend to go back again, plus they have good looking guides!

Couldn't agree more

Posted by Janice  from Culver City, CA  on January 20, 2009

An absolute garbage experience, from start to finish. the buggies are pieces of junk, poorly built and no padding on the seats. my body was wracked with bruises for over a week.
and when you get the repair bill (4 figures) to weld cracks that occured on areas that had clearly been welded in the past, you truly feel like a chump.
this company will place your life in danger with its unethical, unsafe, and quite frankly unconscionable policies. the most caring advice i can offer anyone reading this is to skip this most unsatisfying experience and do any of the other 1 million fun things there are to do in vegas or california.
