Everything is perfect

Squaw has the best of everything. there are no "runs" at squaw, just pick the chair lift that matches your skiing ability and find your way down the mountain. the wide open bowls and variety of ways down the mountain assures you that you can find a quiet spot to ski even on the busiest weekends. the squaw kids program is simply the best for convenience (basically drop and go right from the parking lot) and quality of instructors. the ski in ski out village condos with underground parking is the way to go. perfect for families. there really is no night life to speak of, but that is the beauty of north tahoe. great terrain for all skiing levels and the beginners get to ski on the top of the mountain instead of being confined to the base.

Ski but not much more

Yes, the trails are good, the snow is good. as far as resorts go, it's just ok; i prefer to leave squaw to go to other parts of tahoe for the fun stuff.
