This hotel is prized for its excellent location and more moderate rates (for a Sheraton). Portraits of this hotel's eponym, Princess Kaiulani, heir to the throne who died in 1899 at the age of 24, fill the large open-air lobby. Good location

If you're on a budget, this hotel is a great value. i stayed at a nice "high ocean view" room that was kinda small but had updated furniture. you're in the middle of waikiki shopping and walking distance to the beach.

Good location, bad hotel

Posted by jrabbit1  from pasadena, CA  on March 21, 2007

This was one of the worst i have ever been too. the do not have valet and the parking garage is far and creepy with only stairs. then the rooms smelled and the hotel was flooded with japanese tourists. the only good part is the location and the poolside buffet and entertainment.
