Never before seen attractions

Posted by James Henderson  from Los Angels, CA  on May 1, 2009

I visited the museum on my trip to oahu with the family last month and i must say what a surprise. i had been to pearl harbor before and seen the typical attractions but had never stopped to see the pacific aviation museum pearl harbor.

the first plane i was confronted by was the notorious japanese zero! what an opportunity to see one of the only 4 last japanese zero airplanes in the world. the other exhibits were equally as impressive.

i enjoyed the aviators tour to get a close encounter of the planes that changed history. we finished off a long day at the museum with lunch at the wonderful cafe they have in the museum. in my opinion, this is a must see when on oahu.

Awesome addition to the pearl harbor experience

Posted by Danny  from Waipio, HI  on April 29, 2009

I took my brother and his family here when they came on vacation. the aircraft on display in the main exhibit room were very nicely done, each in it's own wonderful diorama. the kids had a blast in the flight simulators, and the adults enjoyed the aviator's tour where we got to see several aircraft up close. the whole family had fun here.
