Way too expensive

The basic tour used to be about $50, and wasn't bad for the price, if only because the tour bus eliminated the need to park in hawaii (frequently very difficult). it's now a hundred bucks, and is way too expensive. dinner at alan wong's could be had for about the same cost and represents the apex of dining on oahu. better yet, get the betty shimabukro book, or donovan dela cruz's 'puka guide' and explore on your own. cheaper and better than getting taken to leonard's for malasadas--it's like calling dunkin' donuts a delicacy in boston. maybe, but not for $100....
