Update ListingThis popular brewery in the Waimea Plantation Cottages is a welcome addition to the dry west side, serving pub fare with a multiethnic twist. "Small plates" for grazing are composed of ale-steamed shrimp, taro-leaf-and-goat-cheese dip with warm pita bread, or seafood chowder. "Big plates" come with steak with wasabi mashed potatoes, kalbi short ribs, or kalua pork. In between are soups, salads, and sandwiches, including fresh catch. The beer is brewed on the premise...

Great beer, ok food. aloha spirit.

Despite the 'westernmost brewery' hype, the beer here is very palatable...and at $5 a pint, not much more expensive than the $12 a 6-pack deals at most local grocery stores. the wraps left a bit to be desired -- mostly rice, flavors too dependent on mayo -- but salads and burgers that other nearby tables ordered looked good, and fries were tasty. looked like locals stick to the bar tabletop video game machines. friendly service, lots of feral cats + roosters (what's new in kaua'i!) providing entertainment, pleasant oceanfront grounds for strolling at sunset.

Best beer in kaua'i

Sincerely the best! try each of the micro-brews! and ease on into a western kaua'i evening under the soaring palms and breeze from the nearby sea-- explore the whole plantation afterwards for a stroll!
