Located just 10 minutes from Lihue Airport, in the town of Waipouli, this 311-room resort was totally refurbished in 2005 when Courtyard by Marriott rebranded the old Kauai Coconut Beach Resort. In 2006, ResortQuest took over the property, which sits on 11 acres, nestled between a coconut grove and a white-sand beach, and renovated the open-air lobby (complete with a stained-glass artwork depicting a sailing canoe, plus a two-story mural chronicling Kauai's sailing history...
