This resort is the perfect family get away. the staff and location really set it apart from others. the staff is attentive and helpful - but otherwise leave you to enjoy and relax. the location is the best on the island - close to all the best beaches, hikes and the wonderful town of hanalei. the north shore is the absolute best hawaii has to offer and hcr is the best of it!
A perfect honeymoon in paradise

My new husband and i spent a perfect 2 weeks at the hanalei colony resort. a surprise from my new husband (i think i'm going to keep him), he brought me to this beautiful property right on the ocean. the location is perfect for honeymooners, quiet, beautiful and away from the hustle of a city. the resort has a spa directly on property that is fantastic. we had a couple's massage overlooking the ocean in a real hale. we had dinner at the resort restaurant and listened to live guitar music and enjoyed wine for half price. we watched the sunset on beautiful ke'e beach. went to the farmer's market in hanalei and at the end of our trip went to a great luau. this all makes my husband look like a superstar, he is but he also admitted that the resort helped plan everything for us. they recmmended everything and helped set up reservations for all of our wonderful experiences. thank you, we'll come back again. this time i'll surprise my husband
