This mini-Sahara on the western end of the island is Hawaii's biggest beach: 17 miles long and as wide as three football fields. Remote. fantastic, for what it is.

Not a swimming/diving/snorkeling/recreating beach. rather, it's the stuff perfect, long, contemplative or romantic (if windy) walks are made of. the pristine beach stretches on forever ... note that it's a rough ride to get here.
