At what price to silently put up with deficiencies

Posted by ramsay on July 2, 2009

Central good airconditioning, safe, good fridge, microwave, friendly staff and a good business idea to have 24h "free" tapas. yet as so often the pictures lie. the fitted carpets are heavily stained and fithly and everything is made for twiggies. the free internet access without printer and no space to place ones papers. the bed rediculously high. room 259 totally cramped, insufficient space for: the suitcase and working with papers. the bathroom without ventilation, damp and sauna like, rosty metall constructions, flaking off paint due to mould, broken tiles with sharp edges, washstand drainage mechanisme non existant and worst a child size toilet placed to close to the sidewall and in front obstructed by the toiletpaper holder, the joke of a balcony with a view to the grungy backyard in which one can have the tapas or breakfast out of oneway dishes provided one was able to fish some food out of the about 10 recessed, lidded, about 30x22cm boxes which form 1/4 of the buffet. these boxes contain every day the same kind of cold food, melon, watermelon, kivi, orange, butter, yoghurt, chocolat with nuts, macaroni alla panna with ham cubes, ravioli, bolognese sauce, grinded non parmesano cheese. 1/4 of the buffet consists of hard boild eggs, some interesting omelet with spinach and carameled sugger crust on top which when scratched off leaves a slight rather good sweat note. a bacon and ham mixture, unappetizing fatty potato scratch and microwave reheated peas and carrots as well as some bread, cornflakes, sugger coated mini croissants, other sweat breads, nuts and sweats several toasters and 2 microwaveoven are available. 1/4 of the buffet in a different room serves as rubbish corner for the one way dishes. 1/4 for cold water, cold milk, cold artificial tasting juices, cold cheap white and rose wines, good cold beer, ice cubes a simple softicemilk machine and an quite ok espresso machine.
