My future husband and I are very lucky to have one another. Unfortunatly my parents do not agree with our marriage so not only will they not help us in any way they have also decided to not attend our wedding. So we have pooled all our money to spend on the wedding. The only problem is we didnt have enough to have a honeymoon. So we thought why Not??? we could win someday!

My future husband and I are paying for our wedding because our families do not have the money to pay. They plan to pay for a small reception for us, but we cannot afford to go on a honeymoon. So I thought I would look up honeymoon give aways and register to see if we could win one.

  6. Samantha Ward Says:

My husband and I just got married, but don’t have enough for a honeymoon. This would be perfect.

  7. Jason Hicks Says:

Missed all the B-days 1 year Anny, childs brith because I’m in the U.S. Navy in Iraq. We had a courthouse wedding saying we would do it right later but haven’t. Can’t afford to give my wife what it is she deserves, want her to feel like I can do anything for her, but in all reality I’ll have to wait another 4 years until I get out to afford it.

  8. Kimberly Oguh Says:

My parents are about to disown me because I found the love of my life. They won’t help out with the wedding at all or even come to the wedding so we have to ask favors from family and friends of my future husband. We are not planning a honeymoon because money is tight so a free honeymoon would be perfect!!!

  9. Rachel Hawley Says:

My fiance and I are planning a wedding on a low budget, $2,000 only. I am afraid that a honeymoon will not be possible without getting a loan. We are trying to start off right and not in debt. If we were to win a free honeymoon it would help us to start off our happily ever after on the right track!! Thanks Modern Bride!

  10. Melissa Says:

We were planning a May wedding, but my finace’s father has been ordered papers from the army to go to Iraq leaving in Jan. So, we have had to throw everything together!! We would really love to be able to take a beautiful honeymoon.

  11. Angelah Hall Says:

I must confess. David and I were married at the JP almost 3 years ago. We decided we’d rather be married than save up the money then. He promised me then I would be able to have the wedding I deserve someday. The other day, David pulled me away from washing the dishes to wrap his arms around me and say we need to save up for our wedding. My parents are divorced and have never been financially able to “foot the bill” for the wedding, so we are paying for it all. His parents are deceased. Together we have 6 children, who are the center of our world. I work 2 jobs everyday to try and make ends meet. I rarely see my husband, my soulmate and I would love to actually have a honeymoon. If we don’t win one, we probably won’t be able to have one.

  13. Erin Palmer Says:

Jon and I were supposed to get married May 24 this year, but because my school messed up my transcript I wasn’t able to graduate. So, my parents asked us to postpone the wedding because they wanted me to be finished with school. I graduate in december but I had already planned a lot of the wedding and I really want it to still be a Spring wedding. Now, the wedding is going to be in a year. I really want to surprise Jon with a wonderful Honeymoon because I know it’s really hard for him to wait another year until he can call me his wife. I think it would mean so much if could give him a wonderful honeymoon! :)
