Theme park news: Disney’s Pixar; Uno at Knott’s; West Coast Bash

Disney’s Pixar Play Parade troubles
> Disney officials say: “During the March 19 performance of the Pixar Play Parade at Disney’s California Adventure, one of the pendulum swings onboard a float vehicle came unhooked from its post. No Cast Members or Guests were injured.
“In an abundance of caution, we temporarily suspended performances of the Pixar Play Parade on March 20 and 21 to allow for further inspection and evaluation.”

Look at how the world has changed! Ten years ago, Uno the Beagle would have be relegated to Dog Fancy magazine. Today, due to the Internet and blogs, the dog is now making public appearances!
That’s actually just a subtle jab at the power of the net. I’m all for Uno having his 15 minutes. :-)
And, just a quick note of thanks to this blog ‘owner’. Without question, this Travel blog is one of the most consistent and useful blogs I’ve found. I grew up in LA, but now live in South Florida. Yet, I still return to this blog to get interesting travel stories. Naturally, some posts are only useful for So Cal residents. Other posts, such as the $50 PayPal discount at Northwest Air have universal appeal.
Keep up the good work. And, if I was in town, I’d go meet Uno the Beagle!
