Virgin America to Vegas: Richard Branson meets Elvis

Virgin America airplane image(Sir) Richard Branson showed up at SFO yesterday dressed as a preacher and married the Virgin America director of marketing to his fiancée from Yahoo. The San Francisco Chronicle reported “Love is in the Air” played as the wedding song with Branson (ordained in the Universal Life Church) proclaiming, “You will have the rest of your life together where you will soar on the wings of love.”

Kyla Ebbert, who was made semi-famous when Southwest snubbed her outfit and 2006 World Series of Poker champ Jamie Gold were also welcomed on the celebratory SFO to Vegas flight. Partying continued throughout the day with thrill seeker Richard Branson jumping off the Palms hotel near Moon nightclub followed by a poker game at Wynn.

VIDEO: Virgin America definitely delivered on their “have fun” attitude towards flying on their new domestic airline. Check out this video on Viddler to get the vibe in Vegas. You’ll see Richard Branson, Kyla Ebbert, Jamie Gold—and Elvis.

LAX to LAS?
Sadly there are no flights right now from Los Angeles to Vegas on Virgin America. There are however 3 flights a day available between SFO and LAS, starting at $44 each way (pre-tax).

Contact: Virgin America, (877) 359-8474 (reservations by phone cost $5 extra)

Is it legal….some “right wingers” in Phil PA want to make all ordinations over the intenet illegal. What happened to seperation of Church and State? Millions and Millions of couples have now been married from many officiants from the ULC Church.
