Ontario International Airport on April 9, 2008
Good morning, travelers. As you know, the flight cancellations on American Airlines continue into Thursday and Friday. Los Angeles Times Travel Editor Catharine Hamm tells us what to do if your MD-80 flight is canceled.
Airlines | Virgin America has upped the ante. Yes, you want to try a flight on Virgin America, but its launch parties are so much fun that the true travel geeks will want to get on an inaugural flights. Although there are no new destinations in the Virgin America lineup, the airline told me that it’d be releasing two new cities within the year. Keep your eye out and consider booking a first flight to join in on the fun. Meanwhile, Los Angeles Times blog editor Tony Pierce brought back photos and video of the LAX launch party, including the Donnas playing at the gate before VA’s inaugural flight to Seattle. What about the after-party? Grant Martin from Gadling brought home the scoop from The Showbox in Seattle.
Travel TV | Release the traveling inner-frat boy in you. “Three Sheets” premieres on MOJO tonight at 9 p.m. Comedian Zane Lamprey has become an “international cocktail consultant” and travels the world on a global booze tour.

Love Travel | The person you are dating might be the one for you, but how do you know for sure? Test him or her on a holidate!
New York | Planning a trip to the Big Apple? Newyorkology points us to some waterfall-themed hotel packages in honor of Olafur Eliasson’s NYC Waterfalls coming this summer.
