Virgin America adds San Diego to list

Virgin America logoSan Diego travelers get to ride Virgin America! The “funnest” airline in the sky has just added another destination to their list. San Diego was originally named by Virgin as one of their first 6 stops, but confirmation on this city didn’t come until yesterday. Service begins on February 12, 2008, for San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C. I can’t wait to see if they have any unique promotional events for Valentine’s Day.

Deal: Main cabin fares start at $39 each way from SAN to SFO, with first-class seats only $149 each way. SAN to JFK starts at $139 each way, $499 for first class. Main cabin seats to Washington, D.C., are slightly cheaper at $129, but their first-class seats are higher starting at $599. These prices don’t include taxes or fees and don’t forget it costs more to book by phone.

When: Service starts February 12, 2008

Contact: Virgin America, (877) 359-8474 (reservations by phone cost $5 extra)
