While in Vietnam in early December, I learned that the government has just completed a $1.6-million restoration of the Thien Mu Pagoda in the old royal capital of Hue.
Sitting on the banks of the Perfume River and built in 1601 by Lord Nguyen Hoang, the pagoda is Hue’s most famous structure.
So its refurbishment is great news for lovers of Vietnamese history, art and architecture.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the 1968 Tet offensive which changed the whole war. However, I cannot find one reference to it in any of the online newspapers.

dude awsome web site the only thing is that maby give more info cause our 8th grade teacher gave us a homework assiment and well we have to find then on the web and then write a report on them and your pics are great but you dont give anof info for me towrite the report.
