Veterans Day: Southwest offers priority boarding to passengers with military ID

Your Scene: Our troops in Kirkuk

In celebration of Veterans Day, Southwest Airlines is showing its respect to the men and women who serve our country in the military. Passengers with military ID who are flying tomorrow (Tue., Nov. 11) will get to board (and deplane) before other passengers.

And that’s not all. Southwest will also offer these customers (those who are 21 and over) a free adult beverage during the flight.

If you’ve got Veterans Day off tomorrow, don’t forget that you can visit Southern California national forests for free.
