Do you remember us blogging about the Twitchhiker? Paul A Smith is traveling as far around the world as he can in 30 days solely on the kindness of Twitterers. He’s Twittering, blogging and taking videos along the way — all in an effort to raise money for a cause called charity: water. So far he’s raised about $5,000. Today Paul is in Los Angeles at the La Brea Tar Pits — or so he tweeted earlier today. Look for him on Google Latitude and follow his adventures or help him out at @twitchhiker. He’s off to New Zealand tomorrow. I wonder who paid for that ticket. … I also wonder if he’ll get the travel bug and not be able to stop after 30 days.

Hi Jen,
Thanks for using our screenshot and blogging about one of our favorite travelers.
However, your link to Google Latitude doesn’t work - you might want to link directly to Paul’s Mapness journey instead at http://mapness.net/journey/6805
Cheers,
Mark.

Hi Mark -
Thanks for your note. The image of the map was supposed to link to Paul’s Mapness journey - because of your comment I saw that it wasn’t working and just fixed it.
The Google Latitude works fine - it goes to his blog where he talks about using Google Latitude. Not everyone knows what GL is so I wanted to link to him explaining his use of it.
Have a good weekend,
Jen

It’s been a lot of fun to follow @Twitchhiker through his journeys. I started following him a couple of days before he left and I’m curious to see just how far he’s going to get!
