It’s true. Presidential candidate John McCain is opening up a seat on the “Straight Talk Express,” his campaign bus. If you make a contribution (they don’t say how much) by March 31, 2008, you could ride with McCain for a day of “conversation and campaigning.”
Has anyone seen the “Straight Talk Express” up close and personal? Are there better seats than on the Megabus? Obviously you’d do this because you’re a big fan of John McCain — or want to know more about him — but wouldn’t you like to know where you’re going?
To get an idea of what your trip will be like, read about John Dickerson’s McCain bus experiences on Slate.
Some of the stops for the winner may include some of McCain’s personal favorite campaign stops: Mississippi, Virginia, Florida and his home state of Arizona.
