L.A. Live, the entertainment campus designed to draw tourists and locals to downtown Los Angeles, is about to become even more alive.
Starting June 8, the GRAMMY Museum next to Staples Center will launch a program that features musicians, performing and discussing songs from their newest albums.
The program, called “The Drop,” begins with Grammy-winning songwriter Nanci Griffith (above), who will discuss her new album, “The Loving Kind,” at the museum’s sound stage, which seats 200. Over the next few months, “The Drop” will feature performances from musicians Rhett Miller, Mandy Moore and Marshall Crenshaw. All proceeds benefit the GRAMMY Museum.
Ticket prices are $14.95 ($12 for museum members). For exact times and directions, go to the GRAMMY Museum website.
