The historic Carlsbad Flower Fields are in bloom. Catch them while you can. They’re only open for another month or so. Why go to Carlsbad and what’s so great about looking at a bunch of flowers? They have guided tours, a wagon ride, an arts and crafts fair today and again on April 18 and 19, a photography workshop and more—not to mention Legoland, the outlet malls and the beach all within a five minute reach.

I absolutely adore the Flower Fields! Thanks for the reminder to visit them - I’m definitely putting it as a destination on my next road trip.

Beautiful pictures of the Carlsbad Flower Fields! I love driving past these San Diego County treasures on a daily basis. For the people coming from a distance, the resort right above the flower fields and Legoland is called Grand Pacific Palisades and you can rent rooms at ResorTime.com. I linked my name to their page. Enjoy your trip to San Diego!
