I swear, there must be a guardian Frat Boy angel looking after the Superbad team of Dan & Andrew (Dan is in the foreground on the right; Andrew has red hair) — a.k.a. DAndrew. Because on the 10th lap of ”The Amazing Race,” they prevailed and became one of the three teams to go for the cool $1 million in next week’s conclusion.
The guys were the last to leave the Pit Stop and head by taxi to a submarine to retrieve their next clue from an actor who was in “The Hunt for Red October.”
But before they could even get a taxi, they were splashed with water from the oncoming traffic. Then their English-speaking taxi driver took them to the wrong park for their Road Block. When they finally got to the Graveyard of Fallen Monuments, Andrew had a hard time figuring out which statues were Stalin and which were Lenin.
With the wrong information in hand, Andrew showed up at a bookstore where he was supposed to tell the owner that there were six Lenins and two Stalins. But it took him three attempts to get the right number. He then went to Page 62 in the book, which led him to a nearby street where the book’s author had lived.
Then DAndrew had to perform the Speed Bump — because they came in fourth last week — where they had to learn a traditional Russian dance. And if you remember Dan’s performance last week trying to march, things looked bleak for the boys. But again, that guardian angel was watching over them, and they finished the Speed Bump in “only” two attempts.
And they were still in last place when they hit the Detour — Ride the Rails, in which they were sent to various locations via the metro station to find their clue to the Pit Stop; or Ride the LInes, in which they used the trolley buses to find their next clue. The boys took Ride the Lines and moved up to second place.
After losing to Toni & Dallas last week, the brother-and-sister team of Nick & Starr came in first again and won yet another luxury vacation. The estranged couple of Ken & Tina argued a lot and it took a toll on them. They came in third.
And the mother-son duo of Toni & Dallas ran out of luck last night, especially when Toni got flummoxed at the Graveyard of Fallen Monuments; Tina ended up with the correct number to give the bookshop owner.
But their downfall came when Dallas left their money and passports in a taxi. They had to beg from several kind citizens of Moscow for money to complete the task, and they made another big boo-boo when instead of taking a taxi to a clue they rode the metro and had to backtrack.
They were eliminated from the race.
“Everything I am is on account of my mom,” said Dallas at the end of the episode. “This has been the best experience of my life,” echoed his mom through her tears.

I felt so bad when toni and dallas were eliminated from the race. I really wanted them to win or at least to be one of the final three. I admire toni, she’s a good woman and mother. They may not be seen competing in the last episode but i’m sure they have made a lot of supporters and admirers because of the values and good attitude they have shown during the race. Please send my regard to both of them. I’m one of their fans.

i love the amazing race, it’s the best!!! I’m so sad, toni and dallas got eliminated from the race. Watching the race without them will never be the same again. If there will be another Amazing Race All Stars, i hope to see them compete again. I love them both and will really miss them.I admire toni, she’s shown how good a mother she is. I wonder what has become of Dallas’ attraction with Starr after the race.

I am thinking Toni & Dallas were not at the finish line because Toni lost his passport just the day before, so it must have something to do with that.

I feel that toni and dallas should have been at the final 3, they were great, making little mistakes. I’m sure those fans of them out there would also be very thankful to those russian who provided them with money even though they still got eliminated.
