The $23 deal at Inn on the Alameda in Santa Fe

What do you give for a 23rd anniversary? China or silver may be traditional, but if you’re a certain inn in Santa Fe, New Mexico, you give a discount.

The deal: The Inn on the Alameda, which Frommer’s New Mexico guidebook calls a “cozy stop for those who like the services of a hotel with the intimacy of an inn,” is celebrating its 23rd anniversary by offering a third consecutive night for $23. (Ask for the anniversary special.)

The details: The offer is good until Feb. 28, although there are, predictably, blackout dates during holiday and peak periods. Other restrictions apply. But with the low third-night rate, packages begin as low as $333 for two staying the three nights. Just remember that Santa Fe, while quieter during the winter, also tends to be a tad on the chilly side. The average high temperature in January is 43 and the low is 15.
