On-track testing of the newly arrived Terminator Salvation coaster trains is expected to begin on Sunday at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Debuting Memorial Day weekend, the $11-million Great Coasters International wooden roller coaster is under construction next to the Déjà Vu looping steel coaster and in the same location as Psyclone, a reviled wooden coaster mercifully removed from the Valencia amusement park in 2006.

Debuting in theaters May 21, “Terminator Salvation” stars Christian Bale in the fourth installment of the science-fiction post-apocalyptic film franchise, directed this time by McG.

Trains look nice, to bad the ride looks awful. Way to short. Plus the first drop is weak. Should have went with an Intamin woodie.

Wow! Those look great! I can’t wait to ride this. Forget Intamin, give me a “real” wooden coaster with an actually theme!

This coaster looks too weak to carry the name terminator…and im surprised that magic mountain, a place known for having record breaking rides, would build a weak woodie. They should have really set it off by making the biggest fast tallest wooden coaster of all time…And make not one, but three inversions work on it..unlike son of beast..THEN, you can call it terminator…oh, the cars do look cool though

Yeah that sounds really realistic, a woodie with 3 inversions. Moron. I am just pleased with the fact that Six Flags is creating a ride with theme. Not to mention a GCI Woodie, I cannot wait to get out to L.A.!

A woddie with three inversions is very realistic, Son of Beast did one, why could’nt MM add 2 more?

The loop on Son of Beast was removed in 2006 because a bunch of people got injured. Theme Parks aren’t handling the recession well so they’re definitely not gonna take a chance on building a coaster that they’re gonna have to rebuild later due to injuries.
