Supermodel Naomi Campbell arrested at London Heathrow

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested at London’s troubled Heathrow airport (LHR) Thursday on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, according to Reuters and other published sources, including L.A. Times wire reports.

Reuters also reports that Campbell was escorted off a British Airways flight that was bound for the U.S. over an alleged altercation.

John Lampl, a British Airways spokesman, said that he could not divulge the names of any BA passengers under the UK’s Data Protection Act of 1998.

Lampl could only say that Campbell was allegedly involved in an altercation with a policeman, not a BA person, regarding her baggage.
