Summer beach gear from Spafinder, protect yourself from UV rays

bracelet

Ah, summer. Backyard barbecues, pool parties and, of course, blistering-red sunburns. If you need a reminder to slather on some sunblock, the folks at SpaFinder, a spa marketing and media company, are marketing a thin, white bracelet that turns purple when exposed to the sun’s potentially harmful ultraviolet rays.

Proceeds from the sale of the $5 bracelet will go toward melanoma research efforts. Need a more obvious reminder to apply sunblock? How about using that giant ball of burning gas in the sky?
