Spring preening at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa

Hike in the woods, go boating on the lake or spend a lazy afternoon shopping in Lake Arrowhead Village on a midweek hotel special being offered at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.

The Deal: $89 per room, per night, Sundays through Thursdays beginning April 1, 2007; weekends, $129. Reservations must be made by Saturday, March 31 and are valid through April 30, 2007.

The hotel, at 27984 Highway 189, is in Lake Arrowhead Village, which has a variety of shops and restaurants. Guests staying at the resort have private beach access to the lake. The resort, which overlooks the lake, has completed a $17-million renovation that includes updated guest rooms, meeting and public spaces, a redesigned restaurant and bar and a new 11,000-square-foot Spa of the Pines.
