Concept art of SeaWorld San Diego’s “Sesame Street” Bay of Play opening in May reveals the characters and themes associated with the new kiddie land’s three rides.
Oscar’s Rocking Eel — A pair of intertwining eels, one orange with purple stripes and another green with white polka dots, take visitors on a spinning and rocking “underwater” ride. Oscar the Grouch watches from a trash can submarine.
Elmo’s Flying Fish — Visitors pilot planes shaped like Elmo as a blue-striped cat, floppy-eared dog, pink pig, spotted cow and medieval knight. A scuba-diving Elmo watches from inside a bubble. The Sesame Place kiddie park near Philadelphia features an identical ride.
Abby’s Sea Star Spin — Riders board one of nine teacups with purple starfish roofs. Abby Cadabby, one of “Sesame Street’s” newer characters, reigns as a fairy princess with wings and a magic wand.
SeaWorld will also add a pair of “Sesame”-centric shows starting in March:
* “Big Bird’s Beach Party” aquatic-themed musical stage production.
* “Lights, Camera, Imagination!” 4-D movie starring Elmo, Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster and Big Bird swimming through the ocean and flying through the sky.

This looks awesome. The Seseme Street theme is great because all kids are familiar with atleast some of the charactors & it really makes it fun for the little ones. Also Sea World needs rides that young kids can enjoy.
