Santa Barbara: Go car-free to save on hotels

Did you see the recent Los Angeles Times Travel feature on Santa Barbara? The Travel print staff headed up the coast en masse and put together “Santa Barbara: fun stuff that’s free (or cheap) & easy.” There are great tips for weekend getaways and I liked that they also revealed what they didn’t like when applicable. In addition to the affordable activities, restaurants and accommodations they reviewed, we also wanted to let you know that you can save even more by taking the train to Santa Barbara.
