San Francisco: ‘Hannah Montana’ girls getaway

If your daughter has been giving you the evil eye ever since you couldn’t score those ridiculously hard-to-buy “Best of Both Worlds Tour” tickets, get ready to become the best mom (or dad) ever. The Personality Hotels, a hip boutique hotel collection in San Francisco, has come up with a “Hannah Montana” girls’ getaway sure to please any Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fan.

Deal: Get one night in a kids’ suite; a Hannah Montana wig, poster, diary and stickers; a $10 gift card to Claire’s; and in-room use of a “Hannah Montana” board game. Rates start at $229 (pre-tax) based on one “Hannah Montana” fan, each additional fan will cost an extra $35. Here’s the thing, you’re going to have to pick a hotel. The Personality Hotels are a collection of seven San Francisco boutique hotels. Choose from the Little Divas Suite at Hotel Diva; Ring in the Kids Suite at Hotel Union Square; or the Urban Explorers Kids Suite at Hotel Metropolis.

Why Go: You can make a whole weekend of shopping on Union Square. Note: There are other family fun packages complete with disposable cameras, cable car tickets, in-room movies, hot chocolate, bottle of wine for the parents and more starting at $139/night.

Why Not: There are mixed reviews of Hotel Diva on TripAdvisor. Guests report small rooms and beds, but great service. Put some thought into location before you reserve your package.

Caveat: You will be able to look at the package on the Personality Hotels website, but guests will need to call to reserve the “Hannah Montana” package.
