San Diego, Costa Mesa & Los Angeles for St. Patrick’s Day parades & festivals

Jim Jacobs enjoys the St. Patrick's Day parade.

Costa Mesa has a St. Patrick’s Day Parade going on Sunday, but the city has only been doing it for three years. You might instead consider jetting down to San Diego for its St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, which has been entertaining families for 29 years. The festival will have two beer gardens, a Celtic village, stages for Irish music and dancing, activities for the kids and more.

If you miss San Diego’s events this weekend, head down to Olivera Street on Tuesday for the Los Angeles St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
