Roundup: Record-breaking sky dive over Mt. Everest; NYT reports travel industry affected by economic downturn

Adventure | Three sky divers hailing from Australia, New Zealand and Canada were the first to sky dive over the world’s highest peak — Mount Everest. The historic jump took place 465 feet over the summit, and the free fall lasted 30 seconds. They paid $24,000 each to sky dive over Mount Everest, and the video (above) claims that there are 29 additional adventurers ready to do the same, weather permitting.
